TORONTO, ON – March 7, 2008 – Throwback Entertainment, a publisher of immersive interactive entertainment, today announced the appointment of Eric Radomski to chief creative officer. The acclaimed animation industry veteran and three-time Emmy award-winning producer and director will drive the creative vision and future for Throwback Entertainment. Radomski is also the co-founder of phuuz entertainment inc. and one of the creators of Iconicles, a new children’s animation series aimed at the 4-6 year old audience, currently in pre-production in the UK. Radomski is presently working on several projects for Throwback including comedy and action adventure titles, as well as several pre-school properties.

Radomski recently completed his second season as supervising producer of the hit Warner Bros. Animation series, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get a Clue!, the top-rated animated series within the Kids’ WB’s Saturday morning lineup. Prior to that, he was supervising producer of 52 episodes of the Emmy Award-winning animated series Xiaolin Showdown, which airs on both the Kids’ WB and Cartoon Network.
He developed and produced Batman: The Animated Series and 85 episodes later won the first of three Emmy Awards. He continued with Batman by producing and directing the critically acclaimed feature Mask of the Phantasm. He won his second Emmy Award for directing Steven Spielberg’sFreakazoid.
He has developed projects with some of the entertainment industries most recognized talents including, Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Mike Myers (Austin Powers), Jodie Foster (The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys) as well as Norman Lear and Howard Stern. He also created and directed the short film, Jorge, which gained the attention of film festivals throughout the world. He joined HBO to direct two late night series: Todd McFarlane’s hugely popular Spawn, for which he received his third Emmy for Individual Achievement in Animation, and Spicy City with the Godfather of adult animation, Ralph Bakshi.
Radomski’s achievements have garnered him five individual Emmy nominations and three Emmy Awards. He has also received two Crystal Communicator Awards (The Works), two Annie Award nominations, and three Golden Reel Awards nominations. One of his treasured nods is for Mindless Bob, a collaborative effort with DEVO founder Mark Mothersbaugh, for which Radomski was awarded Best Experimental Film at the Brooklyn Film Festival.
