TORONTO, ON ― January 11, 2007 ― Throwback Entertainment Inc. is pleased to announce that industry veteran David Siller has joined the company as vice president of development. In this new role Siller will develop unique original intellectual properties utilizing strong design and planning methodologies; build, manage, mentor and cultivate development studios; and manage development cycles and production for the company. Siller has worked for Throwback Entertainment as a consultant since 2006.
David Siller is an award-winning creator, producer, and designer with more than 25 years of industry experience. He was instrumental in the creation of many blockbuster video game franchises such as Crash Bandicoot, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, and Aero the Acro-Bat that have generated more than $1 billion dollars in revenue. He designed and produced video games from many licensed franchises such as Looney Tunes from Warner Bros., Batman, Superman and Justice League from DC Comics and several games from Disney and Hanna-Barrera including Beauty and the Beast, Scooby Doo and Pirates of the Dark Water. Siller began his career designing coin-op games and created the first ever 3D billiards game titled Cool Pool.
